Hands-on certification in the SDART data ingestion, assessment, and reporting workflow. Practitioners who complete Tier 1 can deploy SDART for clients across Southern and East Africa — structured, scalable, and deployable without further technical support.

Deep modules by jurisdiction and sector: ISSB, TNFD, GISTM, King IV, GRI, and sector-specific instruments. Each module delivers working knowledge of the instrument, the assessment criteria, and the evidence standard required for defensible disclosure.

A board and C-suite programme on AI governance, ESG intelligence, and regulatory positioning. Not a technical course — a governance programme. Executives complete Tier 3 ready to ask the right questions of their internal teams, assurance providers, and AI systems.
TIS Academy Africa programmes are delivered in South Africa, with active cohorts in Kenya and Zimbabwe. The curriculum is calibrated to the regulatory reality of African markets — not adapted from a European or North American programme.
The first Tier 1 cohort includes practitioners from Kenya and Zimbabwe, building the practitioner base that the African regulatory environment demands. Future expansion follows the TIS catchment roadmap — new jurisdictions enter the Academy curriculum as the regulatory catchment deepens.
Academic partnerships with the University of Johannesburg (Council Member appointment) and the University of Venda (five-year agreement) underpin the programme with institutional credibility and research depth.
Applications for Tier 1 SDART Practitioner Certification are open. Cohort sizes are limited to ensure quality of instruction and practical deployment support.
